Chelsea Banks

Chelsea Banks is an interdisciplinary artist in Oklahoma City. Chelsea grew up in a music family and has been creating with her hands for as long as she can remember. Cello eventually became her instrument of choice. 

 

Chelsea is an alumna of OKYO! While in school Chelsea competed in and won several competitions as a soloist and with small ensembles. In 2010, Chelsea performed in the American Honors Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.

Passionate about placemaking and strong neighborhoods, Chelsea currently serves on the Uptown 23rd District Association and Friends of Uptown Boards of Directors, MAPS4 Citizens Advisory Board, and OKC’s Vision Zero Advisory Board. Chelsea practices cello, photography, mindfulness, and keeping healthy space.
