Hope Bruening

Hope Bruening serves as the Assistant Orchestra Director for Edmond Santa Fe High School, as well as its middle school feeders.  Originally from Texas, Ms. Bruening came to Oklahoma to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education at Oklahoma State University, where she also studied orchestral conducting. Ms. Bruening has spent time as a fellow with Girls Who Conduct, participated in the UMKC Conservatory's Orchestral Conducting Workshop, and has served as a clinician for orchestras in Texas. Ms. Bruening also enjoys presenting ideas about teaching young students to teachers in Oklahoma and Texas. She is excited to serve the students in the Oklahoma Youth Orchestras organization!
