Concert Attire Guidelines

We are very excited to see our students perform in live, in-person events this season. With live performances come a few reminders about concert dress. Please see the guidelines below for the appropriate concert attire for each ensemble. Students are expected to stay within the guidelines listed below for their specific ensemble. Visual guides are down below for your reference. 

*BLACK masks required at all times for all strings and percussion for performances.*

Woodwinds and brass players will need to wear masks

at all times except when playing.

 

For Mr. Grogan's OYO, Dr. Dell's OYP, Dr. Mailman's OYW, and Mrs. Monk's Studio Rockestra, students are expected to wear: 

  • Black, long sleeve button up dress shirt, black slacks/dress pants (no jeans), black belt, black socks, black tie (optional), black sports coat (optional).

    

   OR

  • Black blouse with sleeves, black slacks (no jeans), black skirt, OR a black dress with sleeves. All skirts and dresses should be of mid calf-length or longer WHEN SEATED and worn with black pantyhose or black tights. Families should choose modest, conservative necklines. No visible midriffs are allowed.

  • Black, closed-toe dress shoes required for all


For Mrs. Geist's Chamber Orchestra, Mrs. Monk's Sinfonia, Dr. Raiber's Festival Winds, and Festival Strings (Norman, OKC, Edmond) students are expected to wear:

  • White, long-sleeve button up dress shirt, black slacks/dress pants (no jeans), black belt, black socks.

  OR

  • White blouse with sleeves, black slacks (no jeans), or black skirt. All skirts should be of mid calf-length or longer WHEN SEATED and worn with black pantyhose or black tights. No visible midriffs are allowed.

  • Black, closed-toe dress shoes required for all.
