
Jamee Hale
Festival Winds Coach
Jamee Hale is currently in her twelfth year as the Director of Bands at Casady School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She directs the beginning band program, middle division band, and the high school symphonic band. In 2018 she was a recipient of the NextGen Under 30 award, recognizing Oklahoma's next generation of leaders and achievers, and in 2024 a recipient of the Geneva Hood Award, recognizing an outstanding teacher at Casady School. During her time at Casady School, the program has more than doubled in size and received superior ratings at both district and state contests. Mrs. Hale's high school ensembles have performed at the Independent Association of Southwest Schools Arts Festival and toured internationally in Spain and Ireland.
Originally from Flower Mound, Texas, Mrs. Hale moved to Oklahoma for college graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education from Oklahoma City University. During her time at OKCU, Mrs. Hale was a charter member of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. Mrs. Hale received her Master of Music Education with an emphasis in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Oklahoma.
Mrs. Hale currently lives in Midwest City with her husband Chris and three children, Ashton, Hazel, and Lincoln. In her spare time, she enjoys running, skating, and spending time at the lake with her family.
