Sarah Grote

Conductor, Festival Strings Edmond

Sarah Grote is the Orchestra Director at Cimarron Middle School in Edmond Public Schools. She has taught Orchestra for the past 22 years throughout Oklahoma and Texas and is thrilled to be a part of Festival Strings Edmond this year. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors in Music Education and a Masters in Music Performance.

Sarah enjoys performing with various groups around Oklahoma, including the Stringents and ZuZu's Petals and her most favorite role of all is raising a family with her husband Eric and their 4 children, Julia, Jake, Megan and Gretchen.
